BACHELOR OF COMPUTER APPLICATION (B.C.A.)
B.C.A. is a three year six semester graduation programme affiliated to Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University, Amravati. This is yet another professional course specially designed to meet the current requirement of trade and industry. It is different than other conventional science graduation courses in the sense that it is a fine mix of various disciplines like commerce, management and computer applications, which gives a broad exposure to the students and equips them with better skills and knowledge thereby enabling them to withstand the rigours of employment market. The course emphasizes not only on the theoretical part but also on the practical part as the students have to work in the computer lab to receive practical training. The students get first-hand practical knowledge by working directly on the computers, which enhance their confidence and expertise.

Eligibility FOR ADMISSION
Every applicant for admission to B.C.A. Part-I, Semester I course shall have passed the 12thstandard examination of the M. S. Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education with English and other Modern Indian Languages or subject I.T. together with mathematics or three years diploma course in Electronics and Computer Engineering or +2 level minimum competency vocational course (MCVC) in Electronics Technology or 12th standard examination of M.S. Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education and offering vocational stream with mathematics or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto in such subjects and with such standards of attainments as may be prescribed by the university.
